SportPak NewsThis is where we'll announce the most recent additions to our web site. If you've visited us before and want to know what's changed, take a look here first.
SportPak''s backpack, The Hiker, has a totally redesigned suspension system. The Hiker's internal frame design is fully adjustable at the centerline to adapt to the torso length. With the extensive use of drilled rigid foam, wrapped in sturdy nylon mesh, in the hip and waist pads, The Hiker, keeps moisture moving away from your body while affording a comfortable fit. Adjustment points at the bottom of the pack connect the bottom of the Hiker to the waist strap and facilitate a comfortable ride. The shoulder straps are heavily padded and have an attack angle adjustment at the top as well as a strap-length adjustment at the bottom. A sternum strap with elastic and quick release buckle at the center of the shoulder strap can be adjusted easily. For additional comfort, load-securing, cinch straps on the sides and across the face of the pack keeps gear secure and improves ergonomic advantage by reducing repetitive inertial drag caused by the momentum of moving loads. (Okay, it tightens your stuff down so you don't beat yourself to death with a swinging load.) Get The Hiker and see for yourself. There is no better made pack and no greater value than SportPak's, Hiker. -The SportPak Guys, March, 2006
